His Grace is Enough

His Grace is Enough

Do we stop in our days and reflect on God’s grace being enough? The short answer is probably no. So often we are caught up in the world’s race to perfection.

The sooner we realize that perfection is not attainable, the sooner we can start living in His grace. We were not meant to be strong in all that we do or are a part of. If this were the case then we would not need God.

He knew this. This is why we must seek Him in our weaknesses and through Him we can be made strong. It is in our weakness that we need Him.

His greatest calling on our lives is to love. Many of our weaknesses fall into the categories of not being able to love. Whether it be ourselves or others. Let us lean into Him to allow grace to flow in and through our lives so that love is what is present.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV

Considerations for your planner:

  • Write down the areas of your life that you consider weaknesses. Begin to invite Him into those spaces today and each day following.

A Prayer for Our Community:

Father, Thank You for Your grace over our lives. We could not do this life without You. We do not want to do life without You. With You we are made strong. We know this to be our reality. Help us to remember this in the midst of all that the world tells us. Help us to not get caught up in the world’s ways. Rather help us to lean into Your ways and know that our weaknesses are there to remind us to call on You. Amen.
