Let Him Justify Us

Let Him Justify Us

Now that we are seeking to reflect on what God has already done for us every day, how can we live for anyone but Him? When we live in this reflection we have nothing to justify. To ourselves or to anyone else.

This is why no one can bring a charge against us. We cannot help but live in His ways, because we are staying in reverent recognition of how He has done the work of saving. Our only job is to surrender our lives and follow Him.

When we follow Him we can trust that everything will work out. We are not looking to the world to provide. Instead we are finding peace that He knows our hearts and He is making a way with others through us.

As we allow Him to work in and through us, by trusting in His provision through the remembrance of what He has done we gain strength against comparing as the world does. We no longer worry about how the world views us as our attention is focused upward and is concerned about how God views us. We no longer need to justify anything we do, because all we do is directed by Him.

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

Considerations for your planner:

  • How are you remembering what He has done for you today? Write down what this can look like for you.

A Prayer for Our Community:

Father, Be with us as we reflect on what You have done for us. Help us to make this the focal point of our day every day. We need Your strength and we know we cannot have access to it without first remembering what You have done. Help us to be reminded that we cannot earn our way to You. Rather, our focus needs to be on surrendering and listening for Your direction. Amen.
