Our Father is always clear with His instructions for us. He did not create us to live in fear, angst or worry. He has commanded us to be strong and courageous. This is because we have Him in our corner always. We do not have to be discouraged in the face of any trial or obstacle. We know He is with us wherever we go. The bridge we must cross is to not just know, but to trust in this fact. The moment we fully trust in His presence in our lives no matter where we go, a strength and confidence we could never know in this world will come over us. Following His commands will guide us well in this life. He will not lead us astray. He will keep us away from fear and firmly planted in peace.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

A Prayer for Our Community:
God, Thank You for giving us clear instructions. We want to live in strength and courage. Help us not only know what You want for our lives, but to trust in what You have for our lives. We are grateful You are with us everywhere we go. Help us to lean into living in this reality rather than the narrative the world speaks to us. We will follow Your commands. Fear is not the story for our lives. Amen.
