Persevering under trial is a blessing. This may seem counterintuitive, but it is the example of Christs life. God is with us and we are able to persevere under trial because of this fact.
Trusting Him through the difficulties is where our faith is tested and grown. When we stand the test we are met with blessings. God will stretch us to grow our capacity for more.
He has many plans for our lives. It is our willingness to stand the test of trials that determines how much of His plans He can place on us. Can we focus on the blessings over the trials?
When we focus on the blessings our perspective is changed. Our reality of trials can shift. Before we know we are persevering better than ever before. Our capacity is grown and blessings are all we see.
Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

- What are you focusing on today, the blessings or the difficulties? Write down what your default is and see if you can start shifting it with God’s help today.
A Prayer for Our Community:
Father, Help us to draw closer to You. Help our perspective to be shifted as we seek the blessings. Let our eyes be opened to the goodness around us rather than our focus being on our difficulties. We want to persevere better and longer. We are want Your blessing to pour out to us. We will not stand in the way. Amen.
