Are You Remembering?

Are You Remembering?

‭No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.

1 Corinthians 10:13 MSG

Every hard thing that we face is nothing new to God. It is not something He has not seen before. His aim is not to have us compare ourselves to others; rather, He wants us to know that there is nothing we cannot face when we are with Him.

The question is, do we remember that God has never let us down? What are the promises we are resting in as we face strife and difficulties? How we think about God will determine how we approach our lives.

Do we approach the circumstances with fear and worry? Or do we view the happenings of our lives through the lens of trust and assurance? “God will never let you down.”

He will always provide a way through whatever we are up against. He is a kind and loving father, who does not want to see us suffer. He will never let us be pushed past our limit, but when we are consumed by the world we cannot stand firm in His promises for us.

Considerations for your planner:

  • Write down a time you remember God bringing you through. Let this always be a reminder that He keeps His promises.

A Prayer for Our Community:

God, Be with us today as we face every challenge that the world hands us. We want to rest in Your promises for our lives. We do not want to fall victim to the lies of distraction. The lies that tell us we cannot continue on. Make us strong in our resolve that you have and never will let us down. We trust You. We seek You. We are assured as we speak these words that You will bring us through. Amen.
